Weixuan Chan is the Head of Open Innovation, Procter & Gamble (P&G), and is the first Singaporean to be appointed this leadership position in P&G Research and Development department.
Prior to this role, Weixuan spearheaded global product design strategy for P&G’s skincare brand, Olay and its entry-prestige segment in China. The innovations she led have quickly become hero products and renewed the growth of this heritage brand in China.
Weixuan’s interest in design and the convergence of technology and marketing were seeded early on in her undergraduate engineering degree at Northwestern University, USA. She is an A*Star National Science Scholarship recipient and had worked at A*Star and Economic Development Board, Singapore prior to joining P&G.
Pascal Soboll is leading Daylight Design's European business. He thrives on finding opportunities for innovation at the intersection of social change, technological development and organisational strategy.
Pascal's main area of interest lies in 'Systems and Service design', which he and his team apply to challenges in mobility, B2B systems, energy and financial services
Prior to joining Daylight, Pascal spent 15 years at IDEO, working from the Palo Alto, London and Munich studios, most recently as associate partner.
He regularly speaks on the subject of design thinking, systems thinking and creative leadership. He has co-designed the curriculum at the HPI D-School in Potsdam, Germany and taught the course for two years.
Pascal holds a German physics 'Diplom' and a Master’s degree in Engineering (Product Design) from Stanford University.
Chooake Wongwattanasilpa is Managing Director and Head of User Experience & Design at DBS Bank, where he works with Consumer Banking and Wealth Management to make financial more understandable, actionable for non-Bankers. Chooake has more than 20 years of experience in designing software, mobile applications, and digital products in e-commerce, financial services, payments and banking & wealth management.
He began his career as an Interaction Designer at Morningstar in Chicago, where he designed the early stage of financial tools & data on the Internet. He has led the UX & Design team at PayPal APAC (2010-2014), PayPal HQ (2006-2010), Motorola (2006), and Morningstar (2000-2006).
Chooake is a hands-on team leader who inspires by examples. He is passionate about good design and simplicity. Chooake holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Advertising from Columbia College and a Master of Fine Art and Visual Communication from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Neo Chia Yann is the Director of the Consulting practice in NCS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singtel group. NCS is a leading information and communications technology (ICT) and communications engineering services provider. Over the last 14 years in NCS, Chia Yann has developed a successful consulting practice in process transformation, digital transformation and organisation change management. She also drives internal capability development in design thinking, innovation and consulting skills for ICT professionals, and has led a team to develop NCS’ first patent in business method called “Business Transition for Value – bizVal”.
Prior to joining NCS, Chia Yann was a Management Consultant in Accenture and worked in their Singapore, Chicago and London offices over a 12-year period. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Computer and Information Sciences) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with distinction.
Mike See is Senior Talent Director of IDEO Asia, a world-leading innovation and design firm that uses a human-centered approach to help clients identify new directions and create new offerings by designing for people’s latent needs.
Through applying the same human-centric ethos to its internal culture, Mike plays an instrumental role in designing practices that shape employee experiences and growth.
Mike holds a Diploma in Product & Industrial Design from Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore. Being an obsessive learner, he has embraced a non-linear career path, including time as a designer, advertising account handler, and eventually in talent management.
Outside of the office, Mike extends his passion for talent to music management and is regularly engaged with public and educational institutions as a mentor and board member.
